Calhoun County is situated between the
IL and Mississippi rivers.
Pike county if famous all over the US for it's deer.
Well the really big smart ones go just a few miles south where there is more
cover, and water, and way less people.

GREEN counties).
Calhoun has the
heaviest deer
population in Illinois
according to the Dept of Conservation.
We have harvested 200+ pound does and
bucks that were 250+ FIELD DRESSED!

The farm has a 3200 sq ft geodesic dome
house on it that is not finished inside. However it does have
a full kitchen and bathroom. Washer and dryer. Wood
burners on the 1st and 2nd floors and plenty of room to
sleep on the 3rd (beds already there). Also a large deck.
You are certainly
welcome to bring your own trailer or tent if you want to use
it instead of the house.
Our church had 8 people gun hunting on
it at once many years ago. You might
well have 10 and still be out
of each others way.
This lease is for the entire bow season
up to 3 days before 1st shotgun season. You can resume
2 days
after 1st shotgun season weekend.
This applies to the 2nd shotgun season as well
(aprox
Nov. 17-19 and Nov.
30-Dec. 3).
